Per Diem Physical Therapist needed for Inpatient services, Includes weekends and holidays.JOB SUMMARY:Independently evaluates the movement ability of patients through the administration and interpretation of standardized tests, clinical observation, and patient/family interview. Createsindividualized treatment plans and home exercise programs and provides patient/family training. Develops and implements innovative and specific treatment plans to maximize the patient's functional potential or return to previous level of functioning, based on clinical findings. Consults with medical team and allied health professionals and documents all pertinent clinical findings to render a comprehensive, family-based or individual intervention plan.SKILLS REQUIRED:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Master's DegreeBLS for Health Providers (AHA)Physical TherapistValid California driver's license and auto insurance required when applicable.Current California license in PT, or eligible if new grad or licensed in another state.Bachelor's degree in lieu of Master's degree, if graduated prior to 2000Ability and experience working independently, using critical thinking skills and processes to arrive at objective, strategic, results-oriented decisions within the context of patient care and department, division and organizational prioritiesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Doctorate Degree2 years of experienceThe expected hiring range for this position is $43.57 to $59.91Rady Children’s Hospital is committed to compensation that is externally competitive and internally equitable.
