We foster an environment propelling professional development, collaboration, and meaningful work.Job Description:As a Medical Billing Specialist, your core role would be ensuring the smooth running of billing operations. Your responsibilities will include preparing and submitting claims to insurance companies, working directly with healthcare providers to clarify billing details, and addressing any arising billing discrepancies.Responsibilities:

Manage and submit claims to insurance companies, including Medicare and Medicaid.

Carry out data entry related to patient billing information accurately and efficiently.

Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness.

Address and resolve any billing complaints made by customers or healthcare providers.

Monitor incoming payments and manage the revenue cycle of the healthcare facility.

Follow all relevant healthcare regulations, medical laws, and high ethical standards.

Continually evaluate the billing strategies, suggesting and implementing enhancements where necessary.

Requirements

Requirements:

High school diploma is required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in billing, accounting, or a relevant field is a plus.

Minimum of two years experience in medical billing or a related healthcare field.

Proficiency in medical terminology and healthcare coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).

Strong attention to detail along with exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with computer systems, databases, and proficiency in data entry.

Strict adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as legal medical practices, regulations, and ethics.
