We invite you to join our highly engaged team as a Lead Sterile Processor, where we work very closely with the Surgery department in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Our leadership team provides amazing support to the staff, and the surgeons we support have great respect for the team.As a lead you will perform the duties of a sterile processor as well as taking responsibility with daily department operations including staff scheduling, training, mentoring and performance management.Required Experience/Specialized Skills:· Completion of college training program for SPD or online study program or completion of formal on the job training program.· One year experience as an SPD tech· Knowledge of sterilizers, surgical instrumentation, and medical equipment.· Excellent communication and customer service skills.· Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or CBSPD CertificationPreferred:· Ambulatory Surgery experienceJob: Pt Care Technical Organization: Scripps Clinic Title: Lead Sterile Processing Tech - M-F - Oceanside Location: Northern San Diego County-OCEANSIDE-SCF 78/Jefferson Requisition ID: 242006042
