This role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of IT goods and services. This position is part of the IT Vendor Management Office and will have a Remote primary work location. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Analyze IT procurement needs and develop strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery

Monitor vendor performance, including delivery, quality, and compliance with contractual obligations

Implement and maintain procurement policies and procedures in accordance with industry best practices and organizational guidelines

Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve value through effective procurement strategies, including OpCo IT Procurement Workshops

Assess and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships, contract terms, and product/service quality

The essential requirements of the job include:

Minimum of 10 years experience in strategic procurement of which at least 4 years focused primarily on IT categories

Must have experience negotiating Telecommunications agreements >$500k TCV

Must have experience negotiating enterprise Software agreements >$500k TCV

Must have experience negotiating consolidated IT agreements with 3+ independent business stakeholders

Must have experience negotiating Data Protection Agreements with multi-national suppliers

Travel Requirements:

Ability to travel – Periodic overnight travel will be required for this role, not to exceed 25%

This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
