Job Title: Instrumentation and Controls EngineerJob DescriptionSan Diego based Engineering firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining instrumentation and control systems for our wastewater treatment facility water/wastewater treatment facilities, NAVFAC and electrical utilities infrastructure. YKey Responsibilities:
Design and implement instrumentation and control systems for wastewater treatment processes.
Develop and maintain PLC and SCADA systems.
Perform system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize system performance.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of control systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Prepare technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.
Provide training and support to facility staff on control systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in instrumentation and controls engineering, preferably on industrial facilties.
Proficiency in PLC programming and SCADA systems.
Strong understanding of process control principles and instrumentation.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Additional Information:
Salary: $110,000 to $140,000 per year.
Work Site: In office Mon-Thur, Friday remote,
