Finance Manager

Description A well-known Management Resources client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to assist over the next couple month on an interim basis. The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing financial activities, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring the financial health of the company. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent leadership abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of financial management principles.Responsibilities:-Working within the department stakeholders on the already established budget.-Budget vs. Actual conversations -Conduct financial analysis, identify key trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.Monitor financial performance within the Financial Statements of 3 business entities. Cash Flow, Income Statements and Balance sheet.-Collaborate with department heads to track budget performance.-Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to control expenses.-Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for cost optimization.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.Proven work experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role.In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in financial management software and MS Office Suite.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.Strong leadership and people management abilities.Experience in Great Plains and Vera a plusAdvance Excel skills a must Requirements Budget monitoring, Budgeting, Budgeting - Forecasting, Monthly Actual, Manage Budgets, Cash Flow Reports, Cash Flow Statements, Balance Sheet Reviews, Income Statements, Excel Formulas, Microsoft Excel, Bachelors / Honours Degree Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
