Customer Care Representative

Girl Scouts San Diego is seeking a full-time Customer Care Representative to provide the highest level of customer service for all internal and external inquiries via phone, email, chat or in-person, and provide administrative support to help meet team goals. In this role, you will:

Answer incoming calls/requests; engage in problem solving and provide solutions; manage and respond appropriately to all inquiries.

Answer inquiries by clarifying desired information, researching, locating and delivering findings.

Maintain contact center database by entering information accurately and quickly; assists in the review and resolution of data issues.

Provide a positive customer experience for all those contacted in-person, by phone, email or chat.

Manage processes that include, but are not limited to, event and membership registration, background screening verification, front desk reception, and resource center assistance.

Provide back-up administrative support across all departments as needed which may include copying, filing, data entry, program equipment check out, front desk staffing, and office supply stocking.

Perform additional duties as assigned to assist in fulfillment of the council’s mission and goals.

Minimum one (1) year experience in a customer service role; College degree desired.

Bilingual (English/Spanish), required

Ability to work and thrive in a team environment, with minimal supervision.

Exceptional customer service skills, including friendly, professional communication via phone, email, in-person and chat.

Excellent attention to detail, effective time management skills, and ability to effectively multi-task and handle competing priorities and requests.

Must be flexible, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Regular and prompt attendance required.

Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and access to reliable transportation. Occasional travel may be required.
