Are you ready to join our dauntless crew here in San Diego and beyond?ROLE SUMMARY:The Cook is responsible for preparing a variety of food at the Chef’s discretion. The cook may operate one or a select few pieces of kitchen cooking equipment (Flat Top, Grill, Sauté, Salads, and Pantry), and largely focuses on prepping items to be cooked. They prepare food items according to the recipes.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare and cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, and vegetables using a variety of kitchen equipment and techniques.

Know and comply consistently with portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.

Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service for our guests.

Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation.

Handle, store, and rotate all products properly.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent.

2+ years prior restaurant kitchen experience (preferred).
