US Tech Solutions is seeking an
“Technical Support Engineer” for a 6+ months contract-to-hire position with a client in San Diego, CA, 92121. Job Poster: Rahul Bhat Description: - Tech Support / troubleshooting exp
- Networking exp : Juniper/switches/Routers
- CCNP (highly desirable)
Job Responsibilities:- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Management Systems / Telecommunications / Engineering or any other technical field or equivalent work experience
- Min. 3+ years of Customer Support of HW/SW systems required but would ideally like someone with 5 years.
- Networking Certifications: Cisco and/or Juniper
Preferred:- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and identify system-level Hands-on technical experience, in computer and networking skills
- Technical work experience in satellite distribution, digital cable, telecommunications, video systems, MPEG encoding
- Data network routing and switching digital video routing, grooming, and transmission, telco and broadcaster applications desirable
- Experience with Linux, OpenVMS, Unix, SQL, Juniper JNCIA or Cisco CCNA certification would be an advantage
- Experience in network engineering, particularly TCP/IP, UDP/IP, Multicast, Routing, Switching, Network Administration and Troubleshooting
Work experience - 3-5 years’ experience.
Education - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Management Systems / Telecommunications / Engineering or any other technical field or equivalent work experience.
