Staff Structural (Civil) Engineer

Staff Structural (Civil) Engineer, Full time (40 hours/week). Serve as part of the Civil and Structural Engineering team to perform independent structural design calculations and detailing of steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures per the CBC and other applicable codes; evaluate building and site conditions and prepare technical reports of investigations; perform on-site observations of work to evaluate compliance with plans; prioritize project tasks to remain within the projected timelines and budgets; apply principles of Civil and Structural Engineering as it relates to architectural, engineering and construction industries; utilize software and systems inc AutoCAD, REVIT and RISA 3D; apply principles of seismic and wind design principles to projects. Position requires a Masters of Science in Construction Engineering; and 6 months of experience as a Structural (Civil) or Project Engineer. Job location: San Diego, CA.
