We have a challenging opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic, analytical, highly competent, customer-focused Professional Land Surveyor.
The ideal candidate will possess at least 8-10 years of office and field surveying experience and a valid California Professional Land Surveyor license is preferred.
Under the supervision of a principal, the position responsibilities will include planning, assigning, reviewing and producing final deliverables for every survey product. Essential Job Functions Include:
1) Knowledge of field/office surveying methods, practices, techniques, legalities and mathematical procedures for surveying.
2) Establishes procedures, techniques for determinations involving location of points, control lines, boundary lines and areas.
3) Advanced knowledge of principles and practices of surveying for engineering projects.
4) Ability to understand and interpret legal descriptions and record survey maps, understanding and interpreting boundary descriptions, diagrams, and notes.
5) Prepares and reviews topographic, photogrammetric, geodetic, hydrographic, property and right of way surveys.
6) Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to supervise, train, and evaluate subordinate office personnel.
