We are seeking full and part time Speech Language Pathologists (SLP).
Responsibilities
Serve as an integral member of a team at a non-public school for elementary age children, offering an Applied Behavior Analysis model for learners with communication, learning and behavior challenges.
Provide direct service to students in both 1:1 and small group settings utilizing evidence based practices. Design supplemental enrichment opportunities that target language development.
Conduct informal assessments and report present level information in students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Collaborate to assess the need for Augmentative and Alternative Communication systems (AAC- sign language, gestures, speech-generating devices [SGDs], and/or written language) and to provide support for current systems in place.
Collaborate with Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Education Specialists in treatment design and program development
Gather data, monitor data and analyze progress regularly
Maintain client files and treatment logs in an organized manner. Document all sessions, both content and minutes, on a daily basis
Attend and participate in meetings as required (e.g., team meetings, parent meetings, IEP meetings)
Develop instructional materials and evaluate commercially produced materials for use in treatment
Required Qualifications
Current California Speech-Language Pathology License
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with learners with autism
Prior experience working within an Applied Behavior Analysis model or relevant coursework
Compensation
Salary- SLP: $85k-$95K
