Job/Position Title:
We are currently hiring two five-day teachers, one position in our PreK classroom (30+ hours/week) and the second in our 2- and 3-year-old programs (28 hours/week). These teachers will enjoy the consistency of co-teachers and have autonomy building their classroom environment. There is flexibility in the start date: either June 3rd or August 19th.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Be on time, organized, and flexible.
Attend weekly team meetings and monthly full staff meetings.
Send daily updates to families via Brightwheel communications app.
Conduct 2 parent-teacher conferences during the school year.
Create classroom curriculum and set-up based upon the children’s interests.
Observe, record, and be responsive to children’s social and emotional growth and development.
Build individual portfolios for children that celebrate the child’s work.
Provide a safe environment where the child’s personal rights are ensured.
Communicate with parents regarding typical and atypical child development to support the needs of the child.
Collaborate with co-teachers in a healthy and proactive manner.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
BA in Child Development or similar.
At least 12 units of approved early childhood education units.
Experience working in a preschool setting, 2-3 years preferred but not required.
TB test, Live Scan, Updated Immunizations, Physical Exam
