e3 Consulting is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and responsible Academic Specialist to join our team with the minimum of a 1 year commitment. We are looking for a dedicated teacher to support our home-school population as well private and public school students in need of supplemental academic enrichment. This teacher must have education and experience working with elementary students with mild to moderate diagnoses. This position will be working out of our beautiful Encinitas office and on campus at our North County schools. Preferred weekly schedule: Monday thru Friday.

Job Description: To teach and support elementary school students in all subjects. To serve a diverse student population. To assist in homework completion and test preparation. To promote student growth, self-awareness, and educational achievement. To monitor subject matters and study skills. To maintain verbal and written feedback with parents, teachers, and therapists. To mentor and promote social and emotional wellness.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

Strong academic skills across the board

Experience with special needs students (academic and social-emotional)

Ability to communicate and problem solve effectively with both children and adults

Dexterity in working collaboratively as a team with school teachers, specialists, therapists, and parents

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Understanding of individual learning styles
