SHIFT DAYS AVAILABLE:
Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
HOURS:
7PM-7AM or 9AM (depending on day)
Staff are NOT required to stay awake during the overnight shift. After cleaning and pup duties are complete, staff are free to cuddle with the pups and sleep WITH pups in our overnight bedroom.
What we’re looking for:
We are looking for an overnight attendant at our CAGE/KENNEL FREE facility! Ideal candidates are able to meet all requirements below. Someone who is comfortable and confident working with pups of all sizes and temperaments. We are a mom&and pop business with a small and trusted team, so we greatly need our overnight staff to be timely, dependable and reliable for all shifts.
Additionally, cleaning is a major part of the role for our overnight position, as a large part of the duties are going through the facility and cleaning up after the pups full days of play.
Lastly, ALL boarding pups during any overnight shifts sleep in bed/the shared bedroom space with staff (this is non-negotiable.)
Requirements:
1. Must be 20+ years old
2. Pup experience preferred
3. MUST be reliable, friendly, communicative
4. Must have high standards for cleanliness
5. Must be a team player, but also must have confidence to run a group alone+work with other staff on occasion (during busy holidays etc)
Responsibilities/you will be TRAINED to:
1. Deep cleaning dog runs/facility after days use (mopping, sweeping, sanitizing and disinfecting equipment/rooms, cleaning restrooms, completing laundry)
2. Taking care of a variety of boarding pups- all breeds and sizes
3. Feed pups breakfast/medication administration as needed (no injectables.)
