Joe's Paving Company, a California licensed General Engineering asphalt grading, paving and concrete construction contractor is looking to bring on experienced Estimator/ Project Manager with civil engineering experience to manage both current and ongoing business. Having government experiences with bidding etc. will help. The candidate must also have experience in road construction and construction management. Making calls and setting up appointments with potential paving and sealing accounts is part of the job. This position includes both working on proposals in-house with e-bid board and bid connect and visiting accounts in the field. Our market includes commercial, residential and municipal accounts. Experience doing takeoffs from plans online and from construction plans to meet deadlines is a must. The candidate will assist as a project manager with the field personnel once the job is in house.
