Job Description:
We are a rapidly expanding general contracting company based in San Diego seeking a skilled and dedicated part-time independent bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles, with a focus on the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of accounting and bookkeeping.
- Conduct job costing tailored to construction projects.
- Efficiently use QuickBooks online for financial management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably in the construction industry.
- Knowledgeable in construction industry practices and processes.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Must be available for 4 hours per week minimum in office (mostly remote work).
- Expect 10 to 20 hours per week may vary depending on workload.
Qualifications:
- Experience with QuickBooks online.
- Certified payroll experience is a plus, but not required.
Additional Requirements:
- Must pass a background and credit check.
- Drug screening required.
