Accounts Payable / Receivable Administrator

Our law firm is continuously growing, and we are seeking to add an Accounts Payable/Receivable Administrator, to join our North San Diego team located in Carlsbad.

Role Requirements & Knowledge:

Must have a minimum of 2-3 years proven experience in an accounting / administrative type role.

Compliance experience a plus.

Previous experience working with Payroll/PEO applications a plus.

Experience with Ledes billing and data files is a plus.

Experience with electronic billing platforms a plus. Experience with all Microsoft products a must.

A/R tasks to include reviewing, matching, and posting of invoices, receiving payments, and issuing credits.

A/P tasks include vendor billing, confirmation of billable items, entering vendor credits and issuing payments.

Detailed research processes able to resolve issues and find full information using all tools and resources provided and able to come to a solid conclusion.

Clear and concise communication both written and verbal.

Ability to train and further develop own skill set and that of team members.

Excellent client communications to handle invoicing issues and collections.

Vendor communications with billing issues and payments.

Reconciliations including A/R items, A/P items, budgets vs actuals, matter information in one system vs second system.

Maintain relationships with both internal and external clients.

Provide administrative and accounting support to the controller and accounting team.

Tracking and follow up on information to report regularly with controller.

Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate, with a “can-do” attitude.
