ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

We are a Managed Service Provider, leading Microsoft Partner, stable and committed IT consulting services firm located in San Diego, looking for an Accounting Assistant to provide daily support with bookkeeping and accounting tasks. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for reconciling bank records, drafting financial documents, invoicing customers, and collecting payments. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Accounts Payable - Receive all bills, input all bills in QuickBooks, match all bills with customer invoices or pre-approved expenses list. Process all vendor bills on time. Maintain a good working relationship with all vendors.

2. Accounts Receivable - Create invoices within 48 hours of work completed or product received.

3. Collections - Develop a good working relationship with customers to make sure all customers pay all invoices within Net Terms.

4. Payroll/Time Sheets - Make sure all time sheets are completed correctly and input time sheet information into QuickBooks.

5. Professional Office - Maintain receptionist/kitchen/printer area organized, stocked and professional.

6. Executive Assistant - Provide assistance to President when required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Customer service focused.

- Mastery of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

- A strong capability to multi-task.

- Very detail oriented and high level of accuracy when dealing with routine data input.

- Strong follow up and tracking skills.

- Good writing skills and excellent phone skills.

- Strong work ethic.

- Positive, energetic attitude.

- Goal, team, and detail oriented.

- Responsible, trustworthy and focused on our company mission and vision.

- Experience with QuickBooks or knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, and Employee Job Costing modules.

- Working knowledge of contact management and call tracking software.

- Background in working in an entrepreneurial environment.

- Lives close to Mission Valley.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Associate’s degree in accounting.

Two (2) years administration or operations experience.
