Job Title: Mechanical Quality InspectorJob DescriptionThe Mechanical Quality Inspector will support quality operations, including performing inspections on finished parts through the First Article process, incoming inspections, and final inspections.Responsibilities
Perform inspection of finished parts through the First Article process and manufactured run.
Perform Incoming Inspections and Outgoing Inspections as defined for finished products.
Program and operate a CMM to measure the physical geometric characteristics of a part, including dimensional measurement, profile measurement, and angularity or orientation measurement.
Ensure all components are within specified geometric tolerances and comply with engineered drawings.
Communicate with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Sales to document inspection results.
Generate reports including DMRs, NCMRs, and Certificates of Compliance.
Comply with all reporting and documentation standards.

Essential Skills
Demonstrated Quality Inspector skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to capture inspection results against specified drawing requirements.
Proficiency with standard desktop computer software including MS Word, Excel (graphs), and Outlook.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with ISO9001 and ANSI 14.5 standards preferred.
Ability to program and operate a CMM desired, but not required.
ASQ Certification preferred.
Minimum HS Diploma or education equivalent.
3+ years of experience preferred as a Mechanical Quality Inspector.
3+ years of experience preferred using manual inspection equipment (comparators, micrometers, gauge, etc.).
Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance) preferred, but not required.
