Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures such as typing, bookkeeping, preparation of payroll, flow of correspondence, filing, requisition of supplies, and other services. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Bernardine Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support St. Bernardine Medical Center's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities.

Oversees the function of the Engineering office and data areas. Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures such as typing, bookkeeping, preparation of payroll, flow of correspondence, filing, requisition of supplies, and other services.

Coordinates activities of various departments or workers within Engineering Department. Establish and maintain courteous and cooperative relations with department and hospital staff, subcontractors, and vendors. Must maintain confidentiality of information such as payroll, contracts, and bid documentation.

Opens and updates construction capital project request forms, for necessary reconciling labor and material costs.

Performs layout and preparation of cost proposals, schedules, budget structures, manpower forecasts and material budgets.

Creates forms, customizes templates, etc.

Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with other hospital departments.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years experience as an office manager

College level English, grammar, spelling and punctuation

Ability to key stroke 60 words per minute - Working knowledge and at lease intermediate proficiency I programs such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, Excel & Project - Proficient at use of office equipment

Engineering/construction management preferred
