Description As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of payroll processing for our organization. Your primary duties will include verifying timecards, uploading payroll data into Quickbooks, and ensuring compliance with prevailing wage regulations by providing certified payroll reports to customers. Additionally, you will meticulously manage payroll taxes to guarantee accuracy for our team of 29 employees.Key Responsibilities:
Verify and reconcile timecards to ensure accurate payroll processing.
Utilize Quickbooks (Desktop) to upload payroll data and maintain precise records.
Generate and distribute certified payroll reports to customers in accordance with prevailing wage requirements.
Calculate and manage payroll taxes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to address any payroll-related inquiries or discrepancies.
Qualifications:
Prior experience with prevailing wage regulations and certified payroll is essential.
Proficiency in Quickbooks (Desktop) is required.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
