In this role, you will manage electrical projects, lead a design team, and ensure the delivery of high-quality electrical design solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and engage with clients from various sectors.Responsibilities
Manage electrical projects, including running point on proposals for clients and contributing to secondary market proposals.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, overseeing projects from kick-off to completion of construction.
Formulate cohesive design solutions within scheduled timelines and project budgets.
Develop and maintain client relationships through quality service and project delivery.
Engage new clients at industry events to develop new business opportunities.
Directly supervise the assigned design team, including mentoring and training team members.
Ensure quality control for projects you oversee.
Essential Skills
5-15 years of experience in Electrical Design and Project Management.
Ability to produce complete sets of biddable construction documents.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain client relationships.
Strong experience with AutoCAD.
Experience in various project types and market sectors (e.g., municipal, educational, medical, federal, or private market projects).
Ability to multitask between different projects and adapt to changing technologies, codes, and tools.
Passion for mentorship.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with complex Electrical systems.
Experience with proposal writing and client development.
LEED certified professional.
Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Licensed Electrical Engineer in the State of California.

The role requires a minimum of three days in the office per week, with flexible working hours and half-day Fridays. Approximately 60% of your time will be spent in the office, 20-30% in the field, covering projects primarily from San Diego to Santa Barbara, including Los Angeles and the Inland Empire, with some projects in Northern California.
