Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in San Bernardino, California. In this role, you will be expected to handle the processing of financial transactions, maintain precise records, and resolve inquiries related to accounts payable. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity within our industry.Responsibilities: Accurately processing and coding AP invoices Utilizing accounting software systems, notably ADP - Financial Services, Concur, and ERP - Netsuite Maintaining precise records of all transactions and accounting functions Monitoring and managing vendor accounts, ensuring all expenses are tracked and allocated appropriately Conducting periodic audits to ensure financial accuracy and adherence to accrual accounting principles Resolving sync error logs in the financial software systems Approving transactions and ensuring they are appropriately recorded in the Automated Clearing House (ACH) Handling inquiries and communications from vendors through the vendor CSR inbox Conducting regular check runs to maintain financial liquidity. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related field Proficiency in Account Coding procedures and practices Extensive experience with Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services Proficient in using Concur software for expense management Strong understanding and experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Solid knowledge of general accounting functions Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) practices Understanding of Accrual Accounting principles Experience in Auditing, with a focus on financial audits Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
