Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently operate a Class C box truck to transport goods from one location to another.
Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and report any maintenance or repair needs.
Follow all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or accidents that occur.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise
Requirements:
Must own or rent a 26ft Box Truck with liftgate and pallet jack and E tracks
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations.
Ability to operate a Class C box truck safely and efficiently.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Physical ability to load and unload cargo, including lifting and carrying heavy items.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate responsibility.
Flexibility to work long hours, including nights and weekends, if needed.
Experience operating a Class C box truck is preferred but not required.
