Waste Removal and Recycling is looking for a mechanic to take care of our fleet of 8, 3 axle trucks and other various equipment. Ideally, you have experience with hydraulics and Cummins Insite, be a self motivated person that enjoys fixing and fabricating things. Welding is a plus! But just simply being a good human is mandatory!

About The Position
Working knowledge of both gasoline and diesel engines
Perform preventative and routine maintenance on diesel trucks and other equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical defects
Conduct safety inspections of vehicles and maintain maintenance records
Operate equipment as needed
Perform duties in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain work area appearance
Flexible hours. Occasional overtime necessary when needed.
1 year of diesel mechanic experience or educational equivalent
Knowledge of Cummins Insite diagnostic tools a plus
Preference given to applicants with fabrication and metal work experience
All applicants must be at least age 18 with a valid California driver license.
Preference given to applicants who possess a Commercial Driver License (class B minimum)
