Very Established regional courier company with over 300+ employees is looking for part-time drivers to provide small parcel delivery to customers throughout West Sacramento, CA. We are an employee-based, essential business servicing California for over 30 years with IMMEDIATE OPENINGS looking for YOU! Perfect for Uber drivers, fixed income individuals, or employees looking to subsidize their income with set, guaranteed hours!
HOURS:
Monday - Friday, 530 or 6am start in Sacramento. Shift runs approximately 4 hours per day. The position is based out of West Sacramento, CA 95691
This position would arrive, sort & load their parcels & then deliver them for delivery by 9am.
PREREQUISITES:
Provide and drive your own Minivan, SUV, sprinter or Cargo van. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET THIS PREREQUISUTE. You will use your vehicle to complete your daily route assignments.
Clean DMV driving record with no more than 1 point in the last 3 years
Must be 21 years of age or older
Driver is responsible for providing vehicle, fuel, maintenance, and 100/300 liability & $50,000 property insurance. This does not mean Full Coverage.
Must be reliable, customer-service friendly, and energetic with a positive attitude!
COMPENSATION:
Top drivers make $23.00 to $25.00 per hour+ using their own vehicle. This is based on a combination of an hourly wage and mileage reimbursement. Base wage is $17.50 per hour plus a non-taxed mileage re-imbursement between $.51 to $.63 per mile depending on vehicle.
Benefits include sick pay based on California labor laws.
