Mike Lowrie Trucking is looking to hire a commercial tire technician. Competitive pay depends on the experience of the individual.
The tire technicians' job is to perform tire service and repair work as well as basic general service functions on commercial trucks, fleet inspections, and assist with other duties as required. This position requires reliable transportation for good attendance and punctuality.
Responsibility:
· Mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing commercial truck tires.
· Fleet inspections
· Participates in training, and follows safety procedures, job duties, and company policies
· Preferred Ability to drive a service pickup to an onsite location where the truck is broken down
· Load and unload stock and assist with physical inventory.
· Follow safety procedures, job duties and company policies.
· Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred, but not required.
· Must be able to lift and/or move tires weighing between 30-200 lbs. with or without mechanical assistance.
· Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
