Structural Steel Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Steel Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of structural steel projects from inception to completion. They will work closely with clients, engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage multiple structural steel projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met and resources are allocated efficiently.

- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to clarify project requirements and resolve any issues that may arise.

- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and address any on-site challenges.

- Review and approve project drawings, specifications, and change orders.

- Track project expenses, prepare accurate cost estimates, and manage project finances to ensure profitability.

- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to provide regular updates on project status and address any concerns.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

- Proven experience managing structural steel projects from start to finish, preferably in the construction industry.

- Strong understanding of structural steel design, fabrication, and erection processes.

- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and manage competing demands.

- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

- Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
