Position: Cabinet Maker
Reports To: Cabinet Shop Manager
Where: Sacramento Area
Job Description:
Duarte Construction is looking a Cabinet Maker with woodworking skills and an eye for detail. As a master of their craft and using specs provided, they will be responsible for: milling, assembling, finishing, and installing. Producing cabinets and millwork that ensure quality workmanship and are completed in a timely and safe manner. They must be able to work on multiple projects at once, and report project progress to the Cabinet Shop Manager. We are looking for someone who is professional, respectful, on time, trustworthy, and has a positive work attitude to represent our company. Upper mobility in the company not just available but essential. We are looking for a candidate willing to become a Lead Forman in our cabinet shop, or an Installation Forman.
Minimum Qualifications:
Read and understand cabinet layout drawings and bill of materials, to create cabinetry that accurately reflects design specifications.
Safley setup and operate power and hand tools utilized by the cabinet shop such as table saws, shapers, nail and staple guns, routers, belt sanders and spray paint guns.
Operate specialized computer operated large power equipment such as CNC routers.
Perform clean up and organization of storage, tool crib and shop floor areas.
Good interpersonal & commination skills,
Valid Driver's License and clean driving records (REQUIRED)
Ability to pass background test (REQUIRED)
Physical Requirements:
You will need to be able to stand and work on site for 8 hours a day
Be able to lift 50 lbs.
Education / Experience:
Cabinet making experience: 5 year (Preferred)
Owning instillation tools is a plus!
Hours:
Full time employment, Monday to Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm
Occasional overtime may be required
