MUST SPEAK ENGLISH AND SPANISH WELL. No contactar si no hablas bien inglés. Must have extensive knowledge in plastering, lath, and scaffolding. Must be able to run crews and have good communication skills. We are not looking for someone to sit in the truck, but actually be present and physically work on walls with other crew members. Pay depends on your credentials. Texts and e-mails sent will be ignored, call instead.
Some of a plaster foreman's duties include:
Organizing tasks: Assigning daily and general responsibilities to team members, and organizing tasks according to priorities and plans
Skills in: Pumping, acrylic and cement based finishes, lath.
Scheduling: Creating schedules and monitoring crew attendance
Training and supervising: Training and supervising workers, and evaluating their performance
Managing resources: Ensuring that manpower and resources are adequate
Safety: Ensuring that all safety precautions are met, and that crew members exercise safe working practices
Quality: Ensuring the quality, consistency, and completeness of plastering
Ordering materials: Tracking and ordering materials for the job site, such as bricks, tools, or equipment
Resolving problems: Addressing problems as they arise, and bringing them to the attention of management
Coordinating: Coordinating with construction crews and supervisors to fulfill job duties
Completing repairs: Completing repairs using plaster or other compounds
