The Placer County Community Development Resource Agency is accepting applications to fill one Senior Building Inspector vacancy in Auburn assigned to field inspection-related duties!
This position is responsible for reviewing highly technical construction plans and performing difficult and complex field inspections. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial and residential inspections and will also have the ability to work independently.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience: Two years of responsible journey level experience performing duties similar to those of a Building Inspector II in Placer County.
- Training: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Additional specialized training in building codes, construction technology or a related field is desirable.
Required License or Certificate:
- Possession of a valid Certificate of Registration as an Inspector issued by the International Code Council.
