HVAC Service Tech - Experience Required

Carson Mechanical with 30+ years in Commercial and Residential HVAC service has an

immediate opening for an experienced HVAC Service Technician. Performing

maintenance on commercial HVAC systems, including changing filters, belts and

verifying proper operation of equipment. Write up work orders for any equipment that

needs repairs.

Perform required maintenance and service on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. Diagnose problems with compressors, fan motors, coils, etc. while making recommendations for repairs.

 Ability to diagnose, repair and service HVAC units of various sizes.

 Make accurate material lists and time estimates required to service the systems.

 Read and understand wiring diagrams.

 Ability to work independently.

 Understand and follow verbal and written directions.

 Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and co-workers.

 Must have good customer service skills.

 Must be detail oriented and punctual.

 Must maintain a clean/safe work environment for our customers.

 Have your own hand tools.

Required education:

High school or equivalent

1 Year of HVAC School education

Required experience:

2-3 years Field Experience as HVAC Commercial Service Tech

Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass background checks

HVAC load calculation or permitting experience a plus

Computer and phone app experience a plus
