Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled HVAC Pipe Fitter & Start Up Install Journeyman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC pipe fitting, installation, and system technical troubleshooting skill sets. As an HVAC Pipe Fitter Install Journeyman, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and starting up various HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, assemble, and secure HVAC piping systems in compliance with safety and building codes.

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for HVAC system layouts.

Perform accurate measurements and cuts for HVAC pipe fitting and installation.

Install piping for refrigeration, air conditioning, heating systems, and ventilation units.

Use tools such as pipe benders, welders, and threading machines to complete installations.

Ensure all systems are installed properly and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Commissioning various types of HVAC systems.

Work collaboratively with other trades and team members to complete projects on schedule.

Follow all safety protocols and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications:

Valid EPA 608 universal refrigerant licenses.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an HVAC pipe fitter or installer.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, voltmeter, gauges, and brazing.

Knowledge of industry codes, safety standards, and best practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications or training in HVAC or plumbing.

Experience with commercial and industrial HVAC installations.

Knowledge of advanced HVAC systems and technologies.
