Hiring Upholster Technician / Trimmer and Installer
Immediately seeking to hire both skilled Upholsters and/or candidates interested in learning the Upholstery trade!
Are you organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with your hands? Are you an experienced Upholsterer or willing to learn?
Ideally at least 5 years of aircraft or auto upholstery experience is preferred
MUST be drug-free, including legal marijuana/cannabis/pot. We are on the Department of Transportation’s periodic random drug testing. We have a zero tolerance policy for even “occasional” drug and marijuana/pot users.
If you are good with your hands, teachable and eager to learn then we can train you some skills.
Applicants must be reliable, trainable with an attention to detail, and in a healthy condition
Full Time and Part Time roles available
This job is on-site and located near Rancho Cordova, CA
Pay depends on experience and individual's ability
Job Highlights:
Remove, install, rebuild and repair seat assemblies, side panels, headliners, carpets
Cut, sew and fasten upholstery materials
Properly remove and install components for interior refurbishment
Follow safety procedures associated with the use of tools common to the trade and personal safety equipment
Complete assigned work in a timely manner
Pitch in on big and small tasks and work as a team
This is a physical job. Must be able to sit, stand, reach and carry as needed for a full shift (8-hours)
Must be able to lift, carry up to 45 lbs
