We are seeking a General Superintendent with a strong background in HCAi and hospital project management. The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of experience in the healthcare construction industry and will work alongside our Project Managers to ensure the overall success of multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, coordinate, and manage field crews and subcontractors on projects, ensuring compliance with healthcare-specific regulations and requirements

Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets

Enforce safety protocols and ensure all work is performed following industry and regulatory standards

Ensure project progress aligns with construction schedules and timelines, adjusting as necessary to maintain project momentum

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, trade partners, and vendors to ensure a smooth project workflow

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor safety, quality, and compliance with project specifications

Communicate with Project Managers, clients, and trade partners to keep everyone informed of progress and any issues that arise

Maintain ongoing communication with field personnel and clients, addressing needs and resolving issues promptly

Lead project safety meetings, ensuring all field personnel adhere to safety protocols and procedures

Ensure the quality of workmanship and adherence to project timelines

Resolve on-site challenges, adapting to changes and finding solutions to keep the project on track

Foster positive team collaboration and communication, promoting a culture of excellence

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on healthcare construction projects, including HCAi/OSHPD environments (required)

Deep understanding of HCAi/OSHPD standards and healthcare regulations

Proven ability to manage field operations in a healthcare construction setting, ensuring compliance with codes and safety regulations

Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

Solid understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and safety procedures

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate field teams

Strong skills in planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving to manage complex construction projects

Proficiency in construction software tools such as ProCore, MS Project, Bluebeam, and MS Office

Ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with a forward-thinking, detail-oriented approach

Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and forward-thinking mindset
