Fencing Manufacturer & Distribution Company is currently searching for a Second Shift Experienced Weaving Machine Operator reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, at our Sacramento, CA office.
Must be able to work second shift. Second shift is from 1:30pm-10:00pm.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate chain link wire machine including: set-up, run time, and adjustments.
Visually check and be responsible for quality and proper machine operation.
Able to replace and center cutters.
Able to adjust wire, measure length, and diamond count.
Able to load wire and pull rolls
Basic knowledge of how turrets function
Perform routine maintenance and/or complete rebuild on weaving machines.
Trouble shoot and recommend solutions for complex production and/or quality problems.
Perform incidental work assignments as directed.
Report all work related problems to Supervisor as needed.
Keep machine and adjacent work areas clean.
Qualifications
Satisfactory performance on introductory review and Supervisor's recommendation.
Previous experience with manufacturing machines, specifically weaving machines.
Physically able to lift 75 lbs. occasionally.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Must be detail oriented while still being able to work quickly and with safety as a top concern.
Starting pay for experienced Weaver is $21-$28. No experience, the starting pay is $20. Please indicate your level of experience. There will be a $2.00 per hour for the second shift.
