Currently, we are seeking a full-time Detailer/Lot Porter for our Rancho Cordova location, located at 2459 Mercantile Dr., Rancho Cordova, CA 95742.

Position Overview:

The Paint Prepper plays a crucial role in ensuring our paint department operates efficiently and produces the highest quality finishes. As a Paint Prepper, you will work closely with our paint technicians and body repair teams to prepare vehicles for the painting process. This includes sanding, masking, cleaning, and ensuring proper surface preparation, all while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities Include:

Thorough detail exterior and interior of all vehicles prior to final delivery for customer, including waxing, paint correction, water spot removal, and carpet & upholstery cleaning.

Review repair order to ensure repairs have been completed as documented.

Transport customers and vehicles to designated locations.

Cleanliness of location grounds, including office, body shop, and paint shop.

Ensure the shop remains clean and organized, which includes sweeping floors, removing garbage, and properly disposing of parts packaging.

Keep both customer and employee restrooms in pristine condition.

Safely transport customers and vehicles to specified locations as required.

Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by the production manager or general manager.

Skills/Requirements:

Fluent in reading and understanding English.

Minimum age requirement of 18 years.

Possession of a valid California driver's license.

Proficient in managing multiple tasks and thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Strong communication skills for effective interaction.

Capable of comprehending written instructions on estimates, work orders, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Physical ability to lift and maneuver objects up to 20 pounds.

Maintains a professional and well-groomed appearance at all times.
