As a Service Inspection Sales Representative, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our existing
customer accounts, while also generating new business. You will play a key role in driving sales related to
inspection services, maintenance agreements, and system upgrades for both fire alarm and fire sprinkler
systems. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Service Superintendent, Scheduler, and internal teams to
manage customer needs and ensure operational excellence.
Responsibilities
● Account Management: Maintain and nurture relationships with existing customers, ensuring that
their fire protection systems meet compliance standards and operational needs.
● Sales Growth: Identify and develop new sales opportunities for inspection and maintenance
contracts, leveraging industry expertise to deliver customized fire protection solutions.
● Deficiency Quoting: Evaluate inspection reports, identify system deficiencies, and prepare accurate
quotes for necessary repairs or system enhancements.
● Collaboration: Work closely with the Service Superintendent and Scheduler to ensure timely and
efficient service delivery, maintaining clear communication with clients regarding schedules and
project updates.
● Customer Support: Provide technical insights and product knowledge to customers, helping them
make informed decisions about their fire safety requirements.
● Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service quotes,
and sales progress within the CRM system, ensuring smooth follow-up and accountability.
● Compliance & Safety: Stay current on industry regulations and fire safety codes to ensure that all
proposals and service contracts meet legal requirements.
Qualifications
● Proven experience in sales or account management within the fire protection or a related industry.
● Knowledge of fire protection systems (fire alarms, sprinklers) is preferred.
● Strong communication and negotiation skills.
● Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
● Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
● Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
● A valid driver’s license.
