- Experience in a network focused hands-on technical role working with IP routing protocols/technologies and platforms in large scale data center and/or WAN network environments.
- Experience in a technical on-call capacity, responding to customer impacting events, mitigating and root cause analysis of those events.
- Experience with internet routing protocols and concepts: TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, and/or OSPF.
- Knowledge of network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills; specifically, network performance analysis.
- Implements and maintains ethernet-based networks and software defined networking.
- Provides proactive network monitoring and performance modifications.
- Strong desire to build, ability to multitask, sense of ownership and urgency.
- Benchmark testing of new hardware and software to ensure solutions meet design specifications.
- Develops and implements project plans for network support.
- Develops and maintains network topology maps and diagrams.
