Security Officers Needed for Two Locations (Office Setting and Medical Facility) in Auburn, CA and Roseville, CA
Position Title: Licensed Security Officer
Location: Roseville, CA (Medical Environment) and Auburn, CA (Office Building)
Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time
Shifts Available:
Overnight: 7 PM - 7 AM
Day Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM

Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and professional Security Officers to join our team at locations in Auburn and Roseville. The ideal candidates will be proactive, possess strong communication skills, and serve as a visual and physical deterrent to crime. Spanish speaking is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
-Serve as a visual and physical deterrent to crime
-Observe and report suspicious or unusual incidents to the appropriate authorities
-Document each instance with written Incident Reports
-Check in and check out with the appointed County point of contact for each scheduled shift
-Provide an activity log for the hours worked (or daily if scheduled for at least 8 consecutive hours)
-Complete incident reports within 48 hours of the completed shift
-Perform periodic perimeter and grounds safety checks
-Engage with loitering individuals to move from the premises and perform other general safety duties
-Maintain a safe and secure environment
-Use verbal skills to diffuse, mediate, and de-escalate confrontational situations in a non-confrontational manner
-Remain alert, even-tempered, and exercise good judgment
-Operate telephone communications equipment in a mature and professional manner
-Immediately respond to any disturbances and provide for safe resolution
-Provide security for staff requesting assistance during confrontational situations
-Safeguard persons and property with a critical eye
-Respond appropriately to any identified safety issues
-Report any unusual incidents, suspicious activities, persons, and actual or potential safety and security hazards
-Deter and report crimes against persons and property
-Maintain high visibility, answer routine questions for directions, and handle minor problems
Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Proven experience as a security officer or relevant position
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
-Knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
-Surveillance skills and detail orientation
-Integrity and professionalism
-Physical ability to perform the job duties, including walking and standing for extended periods
-Valid security guard license (if required by state law)
-Spanish speaking is a plus but not required
-Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
