Overview:
Mad Butcher Meat Company is seeking a motivated Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, customer-oriented, and possess a strong drive for sales. As a Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional service to our customers while contributing to the overall success of our business.
Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, product selection, and purchases.
Actively engage with customers to identify their needs and recommend products to enhance their shopping experience.
Maintain a clean and organized retail environment, including stocking shelves, rotating inventory, and ensuring product displays are visually appealing.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
Assist with receiving shipments, unpacking merchandise, and stocking inventory as needed.
Operate meat cutting and processing equipment under supervision, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the department.
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding sanitation, safety, and quality standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 lbs and perform manual labor tasks as required.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of meat products and butchery techniques is a plus but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
