CFY Development, a leading developer of affordable housing in California, is seeking a full-time Assistant Management trainee to join one of our downtown Sacramento management teams. Our portfolio of properties is Low Income Tax Credit, either 100% or Mixed, and we are seeking a detail-oriented individual with strong people skills to train and mentor in affordable housing and property management.
The long-term goal is to develop a future LIHTC property manager, who can assume the helm of their own property.
Interested candidates must possess strong communication, computer and math skills, demonstrate an ability to learn and adapt, and have a genuine interest in helping people secure affordable housing, and making a difference in the community. Experience in sales, customer service, basic accounting, social media, and a knack for problem solving are all helpful.
The position of LIHTC Assistant Management Trainee works Tuesday through Saturday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, with Sundays and Mondays off. Compensation for the position starts at $18.00 per hour, with 5 sick days paid per year, and annual pay reviews. After 90 days of employment, if successful, the Assistant Management Trainee will be offered housing at current affordable rates, if housing is needed.
