About Us
We are a Sacramento-based real estate development and property management group specializing in multifamily market housing and affordable housing. Current initiatives include converting existing commercial buildings into high-quality affordable housing and managing ground-up developments from entitlement through lease-up.
We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Project Manager who understands both real estate development and construction execution to join our team and drive projects forward.
Key Responsibilities
Project Feasibility & Planning
Evaluate development opportunities, including zoning, density, and financial feasibility.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and city planning staff.
Entitlement & Funding
Assist in preparing and managing entitlement applications, permitting, and compliance with local/state affordable housing laws (e.g., SB 35, SB 6, AB 2011).
Assist in assembling financing packages, including LIHTC and local grants.
Construction Oversight
Review design and construction documents for buildability and cost efficiency.
Manage contractor bidding, negotiation, and selection.
Oversee construction progress, schedules, and quality control.
Stakeholder Coordination
Act as point of contact between ownership, contractors, consultants, and public agencies.
Ensure compliance with affordability requirements, labor standards, and sustainability goals.
Qualifications
Required
Minimum 5 years’ experience in real estate development, affordable housing, or mixed-use construction management.
Proven track record of managing projects from entitlement to completion.
Knowledge of California building codes, ADA, and multifamily construction standards.
Strong budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration skills.
Preferred
Experience with adaptive reuse or office-to-residential conversions.
Familiarity with Sacramento zoning, special planning districts, and local funding sources.
Understanding of LIHTC and affordable housing finance.
Construction license or relevant technical certifications.
