We are currently seeking an ideal candidate who is detail-oriented, has a knack for problem-solving, and can handle urgent deadlines while maintaining accuracy. Previous experience in a law firm or as a financial advisor would be a great fit; or someone looking to become a CPA.
As our receptionist/customer service representative your responsibilities will include:
Light incoming phone calls but frequent calls or emails to clients
Greet visitors and customers with a pleasant, welcoming attitude
Scan files (we are paperless office)
Project management to support CPAs
Organize and maintain a neat and orderly reception area for employees
Provide clients with outstanding customer service
Assist with Accounts Receivable duties, send invoice copies to customer upon request
Contacting customers for payment (back up)
Assisting with other administrative duties as necessary
Initial bookkeeping steps performed under the supervision of our CPA in charge of accounting services
Skills Required:
Must have strong communication, high attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to align in a professional service firm
Must be Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, and spreadsheet proficient i.e. pivot tables
Interested in designing standard operating procedures
Process orientated to develop project management processes
Moderate experience with QuickBooks Online
Ability to follow directions and take notes
Solid job tenure and work ethic
Strong attention to detail and follow through
Must be capable of working independently and as part of the team
