THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN PLEASANT GROVE CA.

Position Summary:

Leads project teams to improve critical business processes that drive financial results and improve customer satisfaction. Develops project plans and business cases both departmental and Company-wide. Responsible for recruiting, training, and leading project team members by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead improvement projects and effectively coordinate these projects with the Deployment Champion and other improvement project teams. Projects are expected to produce incremental profit. Projects may consist of complex issues and solutions.

Project leadership includes identifying opportunities, defining and financially justifying projects.

Launching project teams, using good project management to manage team activities.

Leading teams to execute projects using Design of Experiments and other methodology.

Tracking projects status and results, removing and elevating project barriers and developing team members. It is also critical to identify integration issues with other projects/processes and coordinate the improvement with the appropriate project/process owners to accomplish the project goals.

Manage the development and maintenance of methods and systems for measuring the degree to which the project goals, objectives and metrics are being met.

Provide Deployment Champion with the results and take corrective project action as required to improve on results below target.

Recruit and train team members in the Six Sigma infrastructure.

Provide necessary training and coaching to team members to spread the base of Six Sigma Problem Solving tools.

Ensure projects are integrated with other business activities, improvement projects, and business strategy.

Ensure communication throughout the organization. This includes all effected people within a process to include keeping the Deployment Champion informed of program status and ensuring coordination of activities with other Black Belts. Includes documenting project case histories to be reused for other projects.

Provide quantitative data indicating the scope of the operation including current year and forecast sales, net income, total assets, and number of personnel, operating budget, and any other quantitative factors which describe the scope of the operation.\

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent level of work experience – three to five years of professional level experience. Prior supervisory experience is a plus.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general information.

Ability to write business correspondence, memos and other material.

Ability to effectively present information to a wide range audience and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and general public.

Ability to learn and do statistical analysis to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and have basic computer skills.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Ability to deal with standardized situations with occasional variables.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid California class C driver license and a clean DMV report are required.

COMPENSATION

Wage Range $75,000 to $80,000 Annually

Wage depends on knowledge, skills and ability to perform the responsibilities of the job.
