A warehouse worker is responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing, and storing inventory.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Processing inbound and outbound shipments (e.g. sorting, loading, and unloading goods)
Verify and inspect incoming materials for quality and accuracy.
Organize and stock inventory in designated locations and in good condition.
Assist in inventory management, offloading shipments, preparing orders, and operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Maintains clean, safe, and orderly environment in accordance with established procedures.
Checking stock for damage and wear, reporting faults and discrepancies to relevant parties, and marking and labeling stock.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
Knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices.
Maintains performance at or above productivity standards and service level targets established by the company.
One year’s experience working in warehouse preferred.
High School Education or higher. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
Forklift operating permit, preferred.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to raise both arms above and below shoulders level, stoop, and squat throughout the day.
Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
