Metal Fabrication:
Assist in the preparation and setup of metal fabrication machinery and tools.
Learn and apply techniques for cutting, welding, and shaping metal components.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
Perform quality checks on fabricated parts to ensure they meet specifications.
Training and Development:
Participate in training programs to develop skills in metal fabrication and assembly.
Seek feedback and guidance from experienced team members and supervisors.
Continuously improve and apply new techniques and best practices.
Health and Safety:
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Report any safety hazards or incidents to a supervisor immediately.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
A basic understanding of metal fabrication and assembly processes is required.
Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in working with metal materials.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (e.g., noise, temperature).
