CNC Machinist
We are looking for a CNC Machinist. Must be capable of setting up with minimal supervision. This person should be capable of high-precision work while acting as a team player, must have a positive attitude, good communication and organizational skills. Do not apply unless you can set up a CNC mill with minimal supervision.
ABOUT US:
Precision Manufacturing Inc. is a precision machining/manufacturing job shop. We Just purchased a new facility in Roseville CA. Very clean, organized and air conditioned. We emphasize teamwork and a friendly work environment.
POSITION DUTIES:
Must be able to perform setups very minimal supervision
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
Must be able to fill out traveler and in-process inspection sheets
Must be able to perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
Must be able to use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
Must understand and have the ability to perform tool wear offsets
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
6 or more years as a CNC Mill set up “required”
Must have experience in precision machining job shop.
High school diploma or GED “required”
ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Must be able to perform setups under minimal supervision
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
Must be able to fill out traveler and in-process inspection sheets
Must be able to perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
Must be able to use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
Must understand and have the ability to perform tool wear offsets
Must effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in English Language
Must have ability to perform basic mathematical computation
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to lift 50LBS when required. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
