The regions largest and oldest independent media company, STYLE MAGAZINE / STYLE READERS MEDIA is looking for a graphic designer - BASED OUT OF OUR OFFICE IN FOLSOM. There may be some flexibility to work remotely once acclimated to the position.
Do you geek out on typography and the beauty of text and image coming to life in print and on screen? We at Style Readers Media are looking for a graphic designer to shine and put those creative juices into action.
1. Proficient knowledge with Adobe Creative Suite, mainly #1-InDesign, #2-PhotoShop, #3-Illustrator, and #4-Acrobat.
2. A keen sense of text and copy flow within page layout documents, digital advertisements and marketing materials (i.e. flyers, brochures, posters, etc.).
3. Advertisement and editorial design working knowledge.
4. Photo/image retouching and editing.
5. Illustrative skills are a plus but, not required.
6. Photography skills are a plus but, not required.
7. Website article updating/creating and processing images for digital use.
8. Self-motivated and able to work with quick turnaround deadlines.
9. Able to follow set forth templates and direction from Art Directors, but also, think independently and make creative decisions on own. Never stop asking questions.
10. A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
